Day Class

	The main heroine of the story, Kurosu Yuuki. As a child, her only memory is of her encounter with the blood-thirsty level E vampire which Kuran Kaname saved her from. Everything before it was erased from her memory. She is also one of the school’s prefects, together with Kiryuu Zero, in charge of keeping the Night Class’s secret hidden. Yuuki is also infatuated/ in love with Kaname but willingly gives her blood, which is sought after by most vampires in Night Class, to Zero.
	Kiryuu Zero is Kurosu Yuuki’s childhood friend. He is brought to the school’s headmaster (Kurosu Kaien) after Shizuka Hiou killed his whole family, except for his brother Kiryuu Ichiru in revenge. It is later revealed that Shizuka turned him to a level D vampire during that encounter. Yuuki willingly gave Zero her blood so that he might continue to live, since his body rejects the blood tablets given to suppress his hunger for blood. He also owns a gun named Bloody Rose which has bullets that can only harm a vampire.
	Wakaba Sayori is a girl in Kurosu Yuuki and Kiryuu Zero’s class. She is also Yuuki’s friend and roommate.
