Night Class

Kuran Kaname is a pureblood (level A) vampire and is considered as the Night Class’ leader. He’s also the one who saved Kurosu Yuuki back when she was a child when she was attacked by a level E vampire. Together with the other Night Class students, he also wants to taste Yuuki’s blood. Kaname also killed Shizuka Hiou, also a pureblood, and drank her blood to obtain increased power even though the act is considered taboo. |

Takuma Ichijou acts as the Night Class’ vice-president. Unlike Kuran Kaname, he’s very lively and sometimes acts in a childish manner. He’s also fond of reading mangas. He’s also the grandson of a powerful vampire, Takuma Asatoo.

Affectionately called by the Day Class girls as Idol-senpai, Hanabusa Aidou, is regarded as Kuran Kaname’s right hand, together with cousin Akatsuki Kain. He’s also one of the two vampires which has tasted Kurosu Yuuki’s blood, the other being Kiryuu Zero. Being an upper-class (level B) vampire, he can also control ice.

Akatsuki Kain is Hanabusa Aidou’s cousin and is regularly seen with him. He’s also nicknamed Wild, probably because of his appearance. |

Senri Shiki together with Touya Rima, works as a model in the outside world. He’s also one of the youngest vampires in the Night Class. Like Hanabusa Aidou, he has a special abilty that enables him to create a whip-like weapon from his blood. Senri is also close friends with Takuma Ichijou and is also seen to be drinking his blood.

Together with the other Night Class students, Souen Ruka is also popular with the Day Class students for her beauty. She also has feelings for Kuran Kaname but he does not reciprocate these. Kurosu Yuuki, as a child, also saw Kaname drink blood from Ruka when she went to the Night Class Dormitory to see Kaname.

Seiren is a Night Class student who acts as Kaname Kuran’s unofficial bodyguard. She has automatically defended Kaname when Kiryuu Zero pointed Bloody Rose at Kaname during his visit with Kurosu Yuuki to the Night Class Dormitory.

Together with Senri Shiki, Touya Rima is one of the youngest vampires present in the Night Class and also works as a model.
