Kurosu Kaien is Cross/Kurosu Academy chairman. He’s also the adoptive father of Kurosu Yuuki after Kuran Kaname saved her from a level E vampire. He also takes care of Kiryuu Zero after his family was killed by Shizuka Hiou as revenge when he was a child. It is also revealed that he was once a vampire hunter like Touga Yagari and the Kiryuu clan. |

Touga Yagari was Kiryuu Zero’s mentor and taught him how to become a vampire hunter. He has shown up once in Cross/Kurosu Academy and taught the Night Class students. He’s also ranked number one vampire hunter. |

Nicknamed Madly Blooming Princess, Shizuka Hiou is a pureblood vampire who killed Kiryuu Zero’s family and took his brother Kiryuu Ichiru as a servant. She killed their family in revenge for her lover (level D vampire) which was killed by a Kiryuu. Kuran Kaname then killed her in order to drink his blood, granting him increased power. She warned him that his actions will change the fate of the purebloods but Kaname replies that he knows that, and proceeds to drinking her blood. This is only known by Hanabusa Aidou and Kiryuu Zero. |

A very influential and powerful vampire, Takuma Asatoo is Takuma Ichijou’s grandfather. He once visited the Cross/Kurosu Academy and asked to drink Kuran Kaname’s blood, even though this action is considered rude. |

Kiryuu Ichiru is Kiryuu Zero’s brother but was turned into Shizuka Hiou’s servant after she killed his family. The brothers were very close before but when he overheard his parents saying that they had preferred Zero over him, he has hated his brother and joined Shizuka after she had annihilated his family and turned his brother into a vampire. |

Maria Kurenai is a distant relative of Shizuka Hiou. Her body was used by Shizuka when she has entered the Cross/Kurosu Academy for her body was stronger than hers. She then left the Academy after Shizuka was killed by Kuran Kaname. |
